Terms and Conditions

Last updated: June 15, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Glitch Squad mobile application ("Glitch Squad", "the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Because Glitch Squad is designed for children (approximately ages 7–9), these Terms are intended to be read and accepted by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of the child who uses the App.

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

The App is intended for use by children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. By allowing a child to use the App, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and that you accept these Terms on the child's behalf.

2. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device that you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial entertainment and educational purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

You may not:

3. Camera and Gameplay

Glitch Squad uses the device camera so the player can scan real-world objects to complete in-game challenges. All image recognition is performed on the device, and camera images are not stored or transmitted. You are responsible for ensuring the App is used in a safe environment and that scanning real-world objects is done responsibly and under appropriate supervision.

Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how camera data is handled.

4. In-App Purchases

The App may offer optional in-app purchases that unlock additional content or features.

5. Notifications

If enabled, the App may schedule local reminder notifications on the device. You can disable these at any time in the App's settings or your device's system settings.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and all of its content—including but not limited to the Glitch Squad name, characters, artwork, audio, text, software, and design—are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted to you other than the limited license described in these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that object recognition will always be accurate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.

9. Supervision and Safety

Glitch Squad encourages children to look for and scan real-world objects. A parent or guardian is responsible for supervising the child's use of the App and for ensuring the child's safety while moving around or handling objects during gameplay.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it, which removes all locally stored game data.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts, except where applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
